  25.     The Elf Zone is designed as a new concept in the art of writing. 
  26. Currently the project under way is called The Wanderer: The God Send 
  27. Dekaology.

  29.     This project is set up so that you the reader can contribute to the
  30. making of it. Chapters will appear on this BBS and no where else (unless you
  31. or someone else uploads them to another BBS. YES! YES!) this will allow you
  32. to read them and then leave comments about them on the Wanderer forum on this
  33. BBS. The text is write in both standard text and in MS Windows Write format.

  35.     Your ideas may or may not be used in the writing of the story since I
  36. do have my own ideas of where it is going. More data on how it is going will
  37. be available on this BBS and the monthly newsletter The Wanderer which you can
  38. subscribe to for an modest annual fee of $20.00 American.

  40.     The newsletter also has more than The Wanderer on it so it would be
  41. something to look into if you enjoy my writing. It's in the style of Piers
  42. Anthony's newsletter if you're familar with that.

  56.     The Wanderer: The God Send Dekaology is unlike any novel that you have
  57. seen before. Mainly because it is written in a style for today's reader.

  59.     It is also a project setup to let you the reader view your ideas about
  60. each chapter on this BBS(The Elf Zone). The final work will appear at your 
  61. local bookstore as soon as it is complete. As well as its sequal Ollie: 
  62. Book Two of The God Send Dekaology which is being done in the same fashion.

  66.     What is a Dekaology? It is a ten volume set of books each being a 
  67. story in theirselves but continuing the previous novel. Much like the 
  68. triologies of the 1970's and 1980's novelist are now writing a great deal
  69. more than just three books to a series. (Piers Anthony's Magic of Xanth 
  70. series as an example as well as many others.)

  72.     Writer's in the past have, such as Edgar Rice Bouroughs (for which
  73. we have the Tarzan and Warlord of Mars series), written a great deal of 
  74. stories based on one character. We have mainly seen this in the Mystery and
  75. Adventure class and only recently has it come to the Sci-Fi/Fanasty class
  76. and even now to the Horror class with Anne Rice's books.

  78.     Though series have been around for many years the concept of a
  79. dekaology has only really surface as in the last 7 years as a dekaology
  80. differs from series in this way: A dekaology must be read from the first
  81. volume to the last where a series you can basically start anywhere in it
  82. and get the just of what's going on. Any of you who have read a Piers
  83. Anthony's Magic of Xanth novel without reading the first three know what
  84. I mean.
